One thing we love(d) about our neighborhood is the ice cream truck. Towards the end of living in our house, it was coming every Saturday. On this day, we missed it as it drove by, but JJ begged to go find it on his bike. I let him, but then Luke wanted to chase it down too. He can't go far by himself, so I followed behind. It was so cute! JJ way up in front riding for his life, Luke way behind pedaling as fast as his little legs would allow him on his trike with his cowboy boots and his wallet in the basket in the back. Luke got tired and I ended up trying to push him to help, but we never made it to the truck. JJ did though and he bought us all ice cream with his money. Luke was pretty upset instead of grateful because he wanted to use his money in his wallet, but we convinced him eventually to get over it.

Sharing a bite of my ice cream sandwich with JJ, since he paid. :)

My view on the ride back home. He now has ice cream in his basket.

Megan got to have some before she rushed off to work.

Charlie didn't get any. :(
|
But he held my wrapper. Doesn't seem enthused though.
