August

In August Jake and I took a trip to Sedona courtsey of his brother Trenton.  It was so fun to have a little get away.  We asked for a good place to eat and were directed to a restauant in another hotel.  It's called Elote and was delish!!! Here is one of the main attractions called Elote, a creamy corn dip that was amazing! Mmmmm.

The dessert we got. A sweet type of corn cake, with dehydrated corn on top, sounded weird, but I always like to ask the server what their favorite is.  Was fun to try, and it did taste good despite sounding weird. 

We acquired this go cart in August. Jake plans/planned on fixing it up. 

Our water heater broke and leaked everywhere in the bedroom (yes, bedroom, weird floor plan in this house) it was in. Luckily it was under warrantee and Jake had a tankless water heater from work to install as well.  It just took time, patience, a lot of sweat, and ripping out all of the carpet earlier than we had planned. Here is some evidence of the damage.  

Jake took JJ to either a basketball or football game, I can't remember, either way, they enjoyed it and it was JJ's first time

JJ had his 8th birthday and instead of a big party had his two best friend over for laser tag, pizza, and ice cream cake.

These are of one of his favorite presents of all from his cousins in Utah.....he got to be the "play ball" kid one night at a D-backs game. He was in heaven!!!! An experience we'll all cherish forever, thanks Flory's!!!
