Yer blog be lacking

On "Talk Like a Pirate" day, we found treasure! Talk like one at Krispy Kreme and you get a free donut. Dress like one and you get a free dozen.  We decided to give it a try.  We weren't sure if we'd each get one or not, but they didn't even make us try hard.  They just had stacks of dozens of boxes and handed them out willy nilly.  My sister in law Katrina had some pretty good pirate talk going on and the employees just uncomfortably laughed and didn't acknowledge her or say anything back.  It was a bit of a let down.  Either way, free donuts.  So many that we decided to take some to the neighborhood and try to meet people.  Instead we met two families.  One talked to us for over an hour.  Rather, they talked at us.  

Mitt was everyone's favorite.  We left him like this all day and had weird looks when we were meeting the neighbors. 

We learned from fellow pirates that Long John Silver's was giving away free meals on this day too if you were dressed like a pirate so after donuts, we decided to get some dinner.  First time eating there for the boys, they were not excited but mom and dad can never turn down free food!
