We all got fishing poles from Santa for Christmas and JJ begged us non-stop to go. We wanted to take him to a lake, but it was too close to Tiffany's due date to go too far away and out of cell phone reception, so we just went to a community lake/pond for a little fishing. We didn't catch anything and JJ didn't last very long, but we enjoyed a nice lunch picnic and some sun together. JJ wanted to be very independent and barely let Jake show him once how to cast. After the one and only demonstration JJ insisted on doing it by himself and that is why he is off the side and by himself in some of the pictures. If anyone wants to go fishing with us sometime, or knows a good spot, leave us a comment!
We used to go to the same place. We never fished there but we loved walking on all the trails and looking at all the birds and rabbits. Sam especially loved it when we saw one of the burrowing owls. Looks like you guys had a nice time. Family time is the best!
